The background
Our Tranquil Dartmoor experience will allow you to relax and reconnect as you walk to one of Dartmoor’s ancient oak woodlands. One of only 3 left on high Dartmoor, these upland oak woodlands are mysterious places, strewn with granite boulders and dripping with mosses and lichens. Here, the English oak grows low and gnarly, in a tangle with rowan trees, bilberries and ferns.
Occasionally walking and sitting in silence, you will experience peacefulness and (re)connection as well as learn about this extraordinary living, working landscape.
